Osceola County Design Services for Hoagland Boulevard, Segments 2 and 3
Roadway Design

Kissimmee, Florida
Infrastructure Engineers will provide transportation
and structural services for the Hoagland Boulevard
design for Osceola County. The project will be designed in two distinct segments. Infrastructure Engineers will be the lead engineering firm for the preparation of roadway construction plans for Segment 2 (from approximately 1200-ft north of the Shingle Creek Bridge to 5th Street). Part of the design will include a 304-ft bridge spanning over the CSX railroad and Old Tampa Highway. In addition, we will be providing
structural design services as a subconsultant for Segment 3.

City of Kissimmee - Continuing Services for Design of Road and Drainage Projects
LOCATION: Kissimmee, Florida
Infrastructure Engineers was awarded a continuing services contract with the City of Kissimmee for the design of road and drainage projects. Services to be provided include the design of roadways, pedestrian and bicycle paths, intersections, and drainage projects as well as signalization design, traffic engineering studies and permitting, transportation modeling and analysis, geotechnical engineering studies, environmental engineering, and storm-water modeling.

State Road 10A over Hogans Creek
Bridge Design/Study
LOCATION:
Duval County, Florida
The Infrastructure Engineers team was selected by District Two of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT)
to provide a bridge concept study to investigate repair or replacement alternatives for the pile supported section of an existing three-cell box culvert, State Road 10A over Hogans Creek, located in downtown Jacksonville. Significant settlement has occurred in the pile supported section of the culvert that was built over layers of muck. The team will explore various options for repair including in-situ soil stabilization methods and replacement options for a single span bridge. All factors significantly affect the construction cost and build-ability of the project will be identified in the study.
Fleming Key Bridge Repair
Bridge Design
LOCATION: Florida Keys, Florida
As a subconsultant to the Barton Malow Company, Infrastructure Engineers is providing repairs to the Fleming Key Vehicular Bridge located in Key West, Florida. The firm will be responsible for producing the repair/rehabilitation design of the AASHTO I-beams, dolphin pile replacement, approach guardrails,
bearing pad replacement, and cathodic protection
system, among other tasks.

State Road 189 over Five Mile Bayou
Roadway Design
LOCATION: Okaloosa County, Florida
Infrastructure Engineers is providing the replacement design for two structurally deficient bridges and approach roadways on State Road 189 over Five Mile Bayou in Okaloosa County. The replacement design will include a replacement bridge structure that consists of two 12' travel lanes in each direction, inside and outside shoulders, sidewalks. Design evaluation includes evaluation of right-of-way impacts, costs of detours, temporary drainage, environmental impacts, etc. The contract also includes all necessary geotechnical and control survey maps.

Thacker Avenue Extension
Roadway Design
LOCATION: Kissimmee, Florida in Osceola County
Infrastructure Engineers is providing project management and design services for the roadway extension of Thacker Avenue from Donegan Avenue to Carroll Street, a distance of approximately 2000-ft. The scope of the project includes design survey, right-of-way mapping, geotechnical investigation, environmental services, roadway and drainage design, signing and pavement marking, signalization, permitting, and post design services. The ultimate typical section is a four lane, divided urban section. Infrastructure Engineers, Inc. will participate in a public involvement program for this project.

Budinger Avenue Extension
Roadway Design
LOCATION: St. Cloud, Florida in Osceola County
Infrastructure Engineers provided project management and design services for the two-lane roadway extension of Budinger Avenue from the new St. Cloud Elementary School to 17th Street. A third lane will be provided adjacent to the school site. The project included minor wetland impacts along the easterly right-of-way as well as parcel takes in order to provide sufficient right-of-way and water management ponds. Infrastructure Engineers, Inc. participated in a public involvement program for this project.

State Road 20 in Alachua County (2006)
Roadway Milling and Resurfacing Design
LOCATION: Alachua County, Florida
State Road 20 is part of Florida’s Strategic Intermodal System (SIS) and the Florida Intrastate Highway System (FIHS) that runs from US 98 in Gilchrist County east to I-95 in St. Johns County. This project involves the milling and resurfacing of the portion of road in Alachua County from State Road 24 (Waldo Road) to SE 14th Street. The existing road is a six-lane divided section with curb and gutter. There are two 12-ft. through lanes and one 10-ft. turn lane on each side of the median.
